Hey I have a 90 talon tsi and was wondering what mods i need to up the boost from stock psi . And what psi is safe.

I ordered a Hallman MBC , Apexi S-AFC, and Walboro 255 fuel pump

what else do i need ?

Ok mod it like this: Intake, boost gauge, mbc with these done you should boost around 13-15psi on the street and get exhaust while your at it. With that done you wont reconize your car.

I'd say 15-16 AT MOST for stock turbo. Also get a boost gauge for sure the stock one SUCKS! Maybe think about porting wastegate but other then that it looks good! Don't forget intake and exhaust (to give more performance)!

You can just turn it up with those things you have order as long as you have a Boost gauge to watch it. Also, tuning an S-AFC without some sort of observation point will not be a good idea. Your car has never been so fast, right up until the engine blows.;)

If you turn the knob and all you get is a NON-stumbling car you run the risk of being TOO lean. And turning it back richer is just not what you are really trying to do with it in the first place.

Use of:

Pocketlogger
Dyno Wideband 02
EGT gauge

is recommended

It is not really worth having an S-AFC if you can't tell what you are doing. Use these to get a good acurate reading on what the engine is seeing. You can do without the EGT, but you should really not do any tuning without a tuning tool.:thumb:
