Running my 2g I have never messed with the suspention, but it sure is time for some new struts.I want to get lowering springs sence might as well do it all at once.Of course I have been looking but I need more of a person's opinion on what ones to get and possibly where can get them for a good price.Remember I am fwd 2g and its mostly a daily driver.

I would reccomend getting coilovers, but coilovers can be pretty pricey. Personally i have Tokico HPK springs and struts. The ride quality is decent, but almost any coilovers are definatally better. But at less than half the price i had to go for it.

Tein S tech springs, stock shocks is what I am daily driving on. Ride is fair. Cornering is good, would be swell on koni shocks. That's what I plan on getting when I feel these shocks are fully blown.

Soon I will be replacing the bushings with Energy Suspension. Then I should be able to tell you how it really handles. For now, pix are in my gallery.

Any would be ok, but coilovers are definitely better. Just dont get any that lower the car way too much. You will end up having more problems them blown struts. Not to mention, it messes up the geometry of the suspension and makes the car handle poorer. I have the eibach sportlines on my car, and as soon as i can, im getting some new struts and a lowering spring that isn't that low. Its a pain.

Got some koni yellows with eibachs if your interested send me a PM. They are a great starter suspension and for the price I'm asking you can't go wrong. Im upgrading to full coil over suspension to be able to get more competitive. This rides very very well compared to stock and definitely improves the ride height of the car!

I also vote to suck it up and get coilovers ;D

But since you seem set on this in spite of them not being matched to hardware that is valved with lowering springs in mind as well as what it will do to your suspension geometry.. go with the H&R's.
