What bulbs do you guys use in your fogs? I just found a set of these Icy Hot 100W bulbs that my brother was given when he bought his KC Lights that were supposed to be upgrade bulbs from the stock 100W. I just installed one and holy crap they look nice. Under the cutoff line they put out some kinda cyan color.. and when you get lower its like a 3000-4000k look to them... I could almost drive with these suckers.

The fogs just kinda look like regular lights to me. But that might just be because of those nasty blue lights up top, LOL. Stick some 'normal' bulbs into the headlights so we can compare. Now as for me, I've always liked the look of those super yellow foglights on some cars. Some think it's rice, but for the fogs, that's actually the most functional color. Something to do with yellow penetrates precipitation while 'bluer' colors reflect. Anyway, I'll probably retrofit my friends 'yellow' projector fogs off of his 240 into my talon. We'll see.

LOL, those are White HID's.

As for the Fogs... Above the cutoff line they look like really really bright stock bulbs, but as you get to the cutoff line to under the cutoff line, it turns into a cyan white color (same as the nasty HID's), it turns into a very bright amber color, the color your referring to. I'll go outside and grab a peice of white wall and take a picture of the color.

Color change in the fogs... I think it looks awsome!

Plus they are VERY bright... since I used 100W fog bulbs, instead of 55W.

DOH! Really? Do you know what the color temp of your HID's are? And I do like your fogs. Very nice. And if they do light up the road well, even under precip, then you're set =)

I bought them with a sticker on the packaging saying 10000k. But from all the research, 10000k should be purple. And these are bright white, with a spec of blue glow. So I think they are around 6000k.

The fogs... They light up the ground almost as good as the HID's... I guess cause I'm using the 100w bulbs. And the light blends perfect from the ground right infront of the fogs, to the ground with the HID's. It looks cool.

I had some yellow ones on my car a while back.
They were nice untill i got pulled over and the gave me a ticket.

A ticket for the yellow fogs? They came stock on 240's and a few other cars, and should be DOT approved? Did you fight the ticket?

Also, the older Lexus ES's had them.

My High Beams are Amber!

HID's with Amber Fogs look weird on the ground. My brother who has a 94 Lexus ES300 installed some of these bulbs that look alot like 4500k HID's, and his stock amber fogs... he says it looks too weird for his eyes, so he doesn't drive with his fogs on. I never turn my fogs off.

Mine look kinda amber. They are weird to figure out.
