I have a really really loud lifter tick. Well everybody says it is. Its really loud can hear it from behind car with hood shut. What kind of oil should i use. everybody said better brand and thicker. What kind should i use.

Mobil 1 synthetic 10w-30..What kind of oil are you using?

Buy new lifters, not very expensive or hard to install. Trying to hide a problem is never the solution.

Running synthetic might not fix the problem. The best way is to replace your valve train an it will last a long time.

The only reason I said the oil type is because he asked what type to use. My actual recommendation would be to replace the lifters completely. Its easy as heck to do and not expensive by any means.

Look up 3g lifters, I heard topline brand worked fine for most. I have not tried them, I bought the JAM ones.
