What kind of oil do you use, thinking about switching to high milage.

So I was just wondering what everyone else uses and why. I usually use Castrol GTX Synthetic blend 10w40 (Cali gets hot) but I'm thinking about switching to high milage by Castrol GTX. your thoughts?
