What kind of engine in 95 RS?

What kind of engine can I put in my 95 RS. Is it possible to put a GS engine in one or only able to swap another RS engine. The car is an auto and I may want to possibly swap it to manual. Is there any options for me?

First thing you are in the wrong section. Second, the RS and GS models have the same engine. Third swapping the engine in another is something that is extremely difficult to do with the non-turbo DSMs. Fourth don't ever post a stupid question like this again. That why the search button is here. I'm not bashing you, but you are new and need some straighting. Also you can do the manual swap. If you are planning in the future to make some serious power, just get the neon tranny (better geared than our car).

rs has 420a motor. nothing from 420a is tranferable to the 4g63 and visa versa. the 420a can be a stout motor. can leave it n/t or can turbo it with a turbo kit. but i suggest you go through the website and look at all the tech articles and the parts catalog and such. get to knwo a few htings abotu modding your car before you do it.
