What kind of clutch should i run?

dude, f--- ACT. after all the crap that is said about them, id go with either the clutchmasters fx200 here or the fx300 here

I went with Spec. I have someone where I live that got me using it.

He sold one to someone that broke it before he even installed it (don't ask me how) and they replaced it.

He sold one to someone that had it in their all-track car, he left the lockers on he f***ed it all up... They replaced it.

I have just seen way too many posts relating to problems with the ACT clutches...

Man this thing is great nothing compared to my act 2100. This thing grips and is very streetable. unfoutunatly i was one of the first to get to try out these clutches and im very happy. And my friend has the 2600 and it has nothing to do with this clutch

Doug's Dyno power has a few cars that are in the high to mid elevens, and they all use the CFDF clutch.

Pardon the pun, but I am burnt out on ACT 2100's. I think my second one is beginning to fail, and I don't think it saw nearly enough heavy use to justify it. I was thinking CFDF or maybe one of the Slowboy's. anybody using a Spec? OR Exedy. I'm not lookin for something in the 2600 range, but I guess beween 2100-2500.

I am using a Spec Stage 3 and I am loving it. Their warranty system is the best. It breaks they replace it.

I replaced my ACT 2600 with a SBR 4000. Worth every penny so far. Pedal pressure is equivalent to ACT 2100 and yes, definitely more clamping force. The clutch does chatter but so did the ACT 2600.

Has anyone heard any good or bad things about the Spec clutches for the 420a setup? Curious bc i need a clutch and was wondering if anyone knew anything about them.
