What are your plans for the car?

If youre just staying at pretty much stock, then get an OEM replacement. Next is the 190lph pump, then the 255lph pump.

The 190 is a direct replacement and does not require an AFPR like a 255 does.

On your current mods tho, just rewire the stock pump for now.Thats my suggestion.

As said before, what are your plans with the pump? If you are looking to supply more fuel then you will have to adjust accordingly. If you are looking for stock or next to stock replacements, then your options have been pretty well outlined for you.

Anything under 450ishwhp you will be fine with a walbro 255. Omg this is going to be another afpr thread... You really dont need one you will be fine on stock fuel pressure regulator just get it and be done. I will personolly give you mine and install it if you fly out here. just to prove it... No really tho I cant do that but you will be fine just get walbro 255..

I ran a 190 with the mods listed in my profile @ 19PSI.

It really depends on how far in the MOD world youre jumping into.

Im not going to be pushing more out of the car than what it already has.

I had a 16g at around 23psi and with a 190 and no afpr it was perfectly fine. Then I switched to a 50 trim setup at 25psi and under boost it would lean out as the rpms rose so I knew the 190 wasn't keeping up. I installed a 255 and an aeromotive fpr and never had an issue since.

I agree buying a 190 is silly to me, 90% of DSM owners are gonna want more power than they initially planned! Buy the 255 and be done with it!

Very true if you trully plan not going big and setup like yours a 190 will do.BUT!!! Itbjever hurts to have that back up extra fuel support. So 255 still takes the win. And don't say you get bad gas milage I was getting around 320 miles on a tank on e85.

Unless you had a 20 or so gallon tank that seems unlikely to me! I am lucky to get 12mpg when on e85!!

who did your tune? 12mpg on e85 is horrible. you dont tune cruise like your would on 91. you can run cruise in the high 15-low 16's afr. Hell, my personal cars I've ran on e85 I tune my cruise into the high 16's. zero problems. 20+mpg

As far as I know 2g fuel tank is bigger then 1g. Also you need a new tuner of your getting that crappy of mileage. A well maintained car can get great gas mileage your more then welcome to drive with me in my car to see my gas mileage.

The Wally 255lph pump is best then. Youre probably going to want an afpr too then.

As far as Mileage on any fuel. That is something that is extremely Subjective to compare unless you are taking and comparing driving in the exact same conditions same speeds with the same driving habits same weight car... . It's always going to be apples to oranges. I've got 24 mpg on E85 cruising the freeway not boosting on a regular basis. And I've got as low as about 10 or less Boosting everywhere and spending the majority of the tank WOT. Just depends on a lot of things what You Get

But... . Pretty sure IIRC both tanks at 15.9 gal, Not that you can't fit more or less... .

A AFPR is a nice thing to have. But not necessary... . About any Vendor on here would be fine to order from.

^ x2, I ran a 255lph pump WITHOUT AFPR for close to 2-years. You will run pig rich, and I got crappy gas mileage, but this install I only wanted to do once. Such a PITA.

Not true get a tune shoot even before a tune it was not no "pig rich" and I run and will always run the stock fpr on a daily driver. If you look at my previous post I was getting about 320miles on a tank on my 2g. bad gas mileage my ass. maybe bad tuner or car needs a tune up I can see these condition. Hell I see people run vented bov without proper setup that is twice and dumb as running a 255 on stock fuel regulator.
