What is the thread pitch for this short shifter?

I know this short shifter is a knock-off but i was in a rush to buy one. I have been trying to figure out what the thread pitch is to this shifter. I have a couple of knobs laying around in my drawer but none of them fit.

Can anyone tell me what exact thread pitch it is?

It will either be 1.25 or 1.5. Kind of hard to tell from the pic exactly. I'd take it into the hardware store and try to thread both nuts on it and see which fits.

Take it off and take it to the parts store, use one of those thread guides they have near the bolts and such.
