I have a 95 GS-T with a 14b, I am getting ready to get DSMLink, and some big injectors, in preparation for a bigger turbo :sneaky:

I figure until I get that turbo I will pound on the 14b, so I was wondering if anyone knows what the maximum amount boost the 14b can handle, and still be efficient? I don't want to blow a bunch of hot air out of it, but I still want to max it out. :D

I've seen 14bs run upwards of 20psi. Mine is at 18, it works just fine. this topic has been discussed a LOT, though. You might wanna search it.

Anything more then about 19psi, all the turbo is doing is blowing hot air. It's not very efficient after 18psi. My car is just as fast at 17psi and it is at 20psi. If your looking to run over 20psi, you need a different turbo.

It doesn't matter that much were it comes from. Pressure is pressure, and the answer for Mitsubishi motors doesn't wander around that much. Please refer to earlier posts on the topic.
