2G What is the dash?

I don't know what people consider the dash in a DSM some cars its diffrent i was taught the dash is on top of the speedometer like under the windshield.

Im pretty sure that it is just a universal term for the bits in front of the interior. The gauge cluster and instruments are included when people say "the dash". Yes, technically the dashboard is the part that covers all of that under the windshield, but getting nit-picky when people know what you mean using the colloquial term is a bit pedantic.

The dash is above the speedometer !!
