What is a good turbo back exhaust that has a decent exhaust note to it?
I don't want it to be super loud I actually want it to be somewhat quiet.

In my opinion any straight through, turbo style muffler is going to be pretty loud since your car is naturally aspirated. If you want to be resonably quiet, I would recommend some kind of a chambered muffler. ;)

Evo3 O2 or 2.5/3" O2 housing
RRE 3" Downpipe
Highflow cat (to help with noise and legality issues)
Apexi N1 catback or custom catback with Magnaflow 13288 (fairly stock looking muffler)

And yes search can be your friend. You'll find all kinds of information on exhausts, just remember that these cars have been around for 10-20 years now so there's lots of info out there. There's a great chance that someone has already done what you're looking into and it might be documented.

thanks man

sorry about not searching guys:ohdamn:

im in the middle of a turbo build now haha

Ahhhh. Ok then, you do need a straight through muffler. I have a Thermal R&D exhaust on mine and it sounds great and is very quiet in my opinion. ( although they are pretty expensive) A less expensive way might be like the post above mentioned. The Magnaflow sounds great and is pretty quiet too.

Tech forum rules also say the following:
Do not reply to a thread with "Use the Search" - answer the question, link to the answer, or don't reply at all.

On a side note, I like Megan also.

Yes, not a big deal, I'm sure we've all done it at some point or another. :thumb:

Also you can usually get the knock off o2 housings or Downpipes, but you might run into some fitment issues. The other option that some people go with are exhaust cutouts, as far as I know these are illegal in all states, then again modifying a car in almost anyway is illegal.

in ohio we have emissions and as long as it passes the emissions test your good no matter what mods and horsepower.
I would be excited about that if our winters weren't so crappy

Right now I am thinking the apexi n1
allthough the apexi gt sounds descent haha
the reason for a quiet exhaust is because I live in a small town so if the cop thinks your car looks or sounds suspicious he will always be on your case

haha you do have a point there im just saying not quiet just a little less of an attention getter haha
my neighbors are really going to hate me when I come in from work at night and I am fine with that its the 2 cops in my town im worried about
