What injectors to support slowboy 50 trim?

I have a slowboy 50 trim that I would like to put on this winter along with some other parts, Crower 272s, 3g lifters, and a Wally 255. On the car now is a 2gmaf with 560cc injectors, fmic. I have Mmcd for logging with aftermarket boost gauge and wideband. Im wondering what size injectors to run and anything else I should do for this setup. I also plan to run speed density with jackal.. its my first build and I'd like to do it right.

Pump gas or e85? What kinda boost do you plan on running? Is your profile Correct on mods?

Probably 20psi. I dont know what to do for fuel yet because I dont know alot about e85, I'd like to research it first but its definitely a possibility. And my profile is up to date except I have a front mount and AEM fuel rail now. The safc only monitors it wont change anything for some reason.

Your Missing some things...Your going to need an aftermarket fuel pressure regulator, to control the wally 255, and an aftermarket boost gauge is a must..


And I would really look into ECMTuning, Inc. for your tuning needs...

Also if down the road you want to go over 20psi..I would reccomend arp headstuds..

Hows the maintenance on the car..Timing belt, water pump? Fluid changes,fuel filter?

The rule of thumb is to go large with injectors, that is if you have a tuning solution that can compensate, like Bud stated above, ecmlink would be a solution. Going with large injectors will allow you to definitely cover your fuel needs and allow you room to grow if desired.

1000cc + if you are running e85, smaller injectors have been used, but you will soon max them out.

The motor was rebuilt last year buy previous owner. I know i need the fuel pressure regulator yet. I did the clutch and master cylinder a month ago and plan on doing timing belt and water pump soon. Fluids are checked and changed more than they should be.

I ran 780cc with my Slow boy G50 at 25 psi. I want to say the highest I seen the IDC were around 80%. I will check for sure when I get off work and let you know.

Jakal will be fine for ems and you can dump the mmcd jakal s logger is great. You'll need a wideband of course I suggest an lc1.


I run jakal on my car with a 20g and 750, injectors.
