My son blew another 14B and now we have a chance to get a brand new polished Mitsu
20G turbo for $500. The car has 510's on it now and I would like to step up the injectors. I was thinking maybe 660's but we are going to stay with the SAFCII. I just need to know what ones I could run safely with the 20G. Would the side mount IC still work if I stay around 14-15psi on the 20G.

Go with 750cc. I know from experience, and according to a well known formula...most 20g's are heading towards 400hp and need 750cc.

I am running 550's on my car with a 20g at 20psi and getting around 80% IDC.

Boost est is at 17 that drops to 13 and only 31 lb/s min. Thats why you're running an Injector Duty of 80%

After looking at your mods, you REALLY need to increase timing to about 18* peak and lean out the fuel. I'm running an evo3 16 on 550's at 17 psi, pushing 38+ lbs/min with a 22* peak timing curve and no hints of knock whatsoever. Those knock peaks in your log are from too much fuel.

His son doesnt need to run 1,000s@!!!! Thats over kill for him with a 20G.

The biggest feul injector you can run with a afc is around 720ish, and then it becomes a pain in the ass to get the car to idle nice etc

And it sounds like money is a issue so he isnt going to want to buy DSM link, rember then you need to buy a eprom ECU wich is more than a AFC nowa days.

I would do this, AFC 1 or 2 with 680s along with a big16 or a EvO3 16G. You can pick up a nice Big16 for under 500dollers. Its a fast simple setup and you can run on the stock side mount for a good bit until you have cash to get a front mount.
