I have a 1992 Laser AWD. The only mods are EVOIII16g w/ 2g exhaust manifold & ported 2g o2 housing, MBC, Forge BOV, Hard ICP, and 2.5 tbe.

My goal is to boost 20-24 psi with the 16g and run low 12's. I dont think I will ever go bigger than the 16g so I have a question considering fuel.

I was thinking of getting 550s, SAFC, and 255 walbro w/ FPR, but im wondering if I should go with 660 injectors and 190 fuel pump instead.

My worries are that the 550s will be too small, but I also worry if an SAFC alone can tune the car good enough with 650s? Also will the 190 be able to keep up good enough or do I need a 255 w/ FPR? I was wondering that because then I wouldnt have to buy a FPR and save myself some money, or do I need a fpr with a 190?

So should I do 550s, AFC, and 255 walbro...Or 660's, AFC, and 255 w/FPR?

Do you have all the instruments needed to monitor your car and tune it? that would be the first thing i would get. then id re wire the fuel pump for full voltage. A 190 should be fine but you can do a 255 wally if you want. i would go with over sized injector and tune them so you know you wont run lean.

just my 0.2

If your lucky enough to have an eprom, then try http://www.dsmtuners.com/forums/tun...l-free-speed-density-tuning-software-1gs.html, AFC's just wont cut it. After that get some suitable injectors in the 700cc+ range, and 255 WITH a fuel pressure regulator. Low 12's might be a little hard, but so that you have an edge, get some good cams(BC's dont count), and make sure a properly sized, good flowing intercooler is in use. If all you can get is an AFC, then the 650's(the most afc will properly control) and AFPR with a 255. Oh and i didnt see anything about a clutch.

I have an ACT 2600 clutch.

I dont have an EPROM(I dont think... How could i tell?)

So an AFC will for sure be able to control 660s?

Also I will get a FMIC after I get everything else set up.

Have you considered e85 at all? My buddy went 11.8 @119mph on a 16g, safc and a sidemount... Mods if I remember correctly are 16g, 2g mas, 1000cc injectors, rewired 190, 264/272 cams safc and e85 :). Race weight of about 3050lbs
