i was planning on porting the exhaust manifold and o2 housing but was just wondering what kinda gains i might be able to expect from this job. also what would i need and what are the steps in doing this job if i plan on doing it myself b/c a couple of shops i went to are really backed up and wont be able to do it at all. can't just bout any kind of repair/exhaust shop do this though?

Im really not sure where to tell you to take it to have it done, and there really isnt any kinda hp number to give you. All I can pretty much say is that it will be noticeable. :thumb: Sorry its not the answer Im sure you where looking for.

I ported and polished everything on my car, Myself. I used my electric drill and these grinding bits they sell at lowes for like $6 for a 6 pack of them. I would not pay to have someone do it, It will cost way less doing it yourself, It's easy too.

Nothing beats dremeling away metal in your garge, sitting in a chair and listening to classic rock on a saturday afternoon.

except standing out in the blistering heat at your apartments working on stuff after they told you explicitly that you're not allowed to work on cars there.
