what exhaust to go with

i was wondering if anyone knew what would be the best exhaust to get for my 96 gst. i want it to have a good low note but not be loud!! i dont want it to sound at all tinny and like all those civics you hear. no weed wacker sounds. and fairly quit is the best. how are borla for eclipses? i knew they are real nice sounding on alot of other cars.

i would like for it to only get a little louder when i really step on it if that is possible at all.

HKS exhaust is not what you think, i have recommended it in the past but after reading about it on RRE's website it goes from 2 1/4 piping to 2 1/2 inch piping, i have this exhaust on my car now and am changing back to my old VRS tomorrow, i'll probably just run it open downpipe for a while.

I have a thermal exhaust on my fwd 2g and absolutely love it! A+++++++++++ for thermal.

It sounds so sexy as it gurggles around town.

i agree, although it came on the car it does sound good and not to ricey. i have a picture of the rear in my gallery.

I've had Thermal on my last 2G and loved it! Apexi N1 is popular but according to RRE's page, Espelier outflows and outperforms the N1.

I didn't come up with it. Maybe it's bigger diameter pipe....

according to RRE's page, Espelier outflows and outperforms the N1.

This system will outflow the old outdated and restricted Apex'i N-1

His car wasn't a turbo. Don't get me wrong I have no clue what your car sounds like, I was just giving my opinion on some of the exhaust systems that I have heard in person
