Ok, I'm not sure what that piece is called where the oil filter screws onto, and where the lines from the oil cooler run to.... the piece right under alternator that is between 2 oil cooler lines and the oil filter. Problem is where the bottom oil cooler line runs, is all screwed up and wont hold a seal so oil just squirts out of there when engine starts. I need that piece replaced.... is it a hard fix? Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

PS: It's the piece that the 2 banjo bolts screw into with the 2 oil cooler lines.

the piece that the oil filter screws onto is the stud. its possible that the stud is leaking. there is a gasket (o-ring) that is behind the stud which can cause a leak. but im confused on your oil cooler setup. do you have an external oil cooler or the coolant cooled oil cooler? the 1990's have an external oil cooler. so im not too sure what those banjo bolts your refering to. pics will def. help.

There is an external oil cooler in front of my radiator with 2 hoses coming off it and it connects to this piece I'm referring to... When I start the car I see the oil squirting out and when I removed the banjo bolt and washers it was all scuffed up, which is why It's not holding a good seal.

Talked to local shop, and they said it was called an oil filter housing bracket...? sound righ to you? It covers the oil filter assembly but still cant seem to get this piece off....

Ok, I beleive it's the oil filter housing, here is a pic of it, you can see where one of the oil lines connect to and you can see how scarred up it is. BAsically I need a new oil filter housing but when I looked at pics of the stock 1990 one's it looked a little different then the one on my car now. I have a 90 talon but have a diff 6bolt motor not sure what year exactly.... Let me know what you think and is this fix a hard one or not?

you MAY be able to clean it up & bog a BRASS Bushing & Pipe Dope in the OFH & reconnect the Hose to the Bushing- We can see the POS Water to Oil Cooler still there so yes you probably don't have a 90 OFH now - You are just running an Air to Oil Cooler off a 91+ OFH Housing like I do - But a 90 OFH would certainly be the way to go if indeed that OFH is DOA.

Ok cool, because I can get a 90 oil filter housing in good condition for 40$ so I think I'll just pick that up.
