What color to paint my car? [Merged 4-8]

Just please dont paint it metalic green. It would be too much like the fast and the furious eclipse. I hate that car. But thats just my .02 cents. I would keep it white. Out of the choices your considering I think white looks the best. Maybe its just because I have a white eclipse. Who knows.

Definately the White Pearl man. Thats the route Im goin on mine. Mazda Whitewater Snowflake to be exact. Beautiful white. Cant wait to put it on. Still lookin for a booth...

The blue pearl is nice. My favorite is the white though. But its your car so im sure you will be happy with whatever color you chose. Thats all that really matters.

So I'm going to get a paint job soon, and I cant decide between the red body/black hatch&roof combo(factory look), or and all black car. Kinda of like robbo185's(below). Any ideas, likes or dislikes of each color scheme?

I painted my 90 bottoms to be black so my car is black outside and red inside.

I kinda wanna get it painted white though.

I've been toying with this idea for quite a while now, and finally got over my laziness and ran a pic through photoshop.

What do you guys think? I still have the project file, so I can try other stuff if anyone has any better ideas.

It would be high gloss, white just sucks as a starting color for a shop... doesn't reflect well enough, so results look matte.

Another option would be the stock blue, or a respray of white, but I'd like to do the black ground effects, regardless of the body color.

Is it that color to help hide the cones when you hit them? Metalic silver, red or a dark green would all look nice but if you're going orange and black you might as well put vertical stripes on it and a little green stem on the roof for Halloween.

On a side note, my girl used to drive an old DOT truck... we called it the pumpkin. And this past Halloween, it was a pumpkin, in the aforementioned fashion.

And I'm cone-free so far this season. Plus, they usually leave black or white scuffs, not orange ones. Common misconception, there.

I've been wanting to do that to an orange beetle for years now. My wife has a white one I want to dress up as Casper or one of those Mario Bros. ghosts.

I was dead set on painting my new Talon Blue, mainly cause I have a Gallon of metallic blue left over from when I painted my eclipse.

Then I realized I have never seen a blue Talon 2g...does anyone have pictures of a talon in blue with a black top?

I asked a few people and its 50/50 some say paint it blue some say paint it black

here is the exact same blue paint on my eclipse in the pic below

Now dont worry...im not doing any body kits on the talon....im just going to put 95 talon side skirts on it, lower it an inch and put my new black projector headlights lights in!

Here is a picture of my talon now....it looks okay in these pics...but I hate that there is NO side skirts.

Either way I have to paint it cause I replaced the drivers door and Tailgate cause of rust.

That blue looks great in my opinion. If you already have a gallon of fairly expensive paint, why not use it? I don't see the point in spending more money than needed on paint, and you would have 2 matching cars. My 1g Eclipse is black, and I hate it because it gets really hot in the sun and it's very hard to keep that nice clean look to it.

Yeah thats what i think too. I really liked the blue myself...but I feel like im ruining the car or something. My mom and dad think I should leave it black. I just hope the Talon looks okay blue...I dont think I have ever seen one? I looked through the whole DSMtuners Gallery and I didnt see 1 Talon in blue.
