This is probly a little off the topic and this thread is a little old, but, do you have to notify any authorities, Like the DMV, your insurance company, or anybody else about the color change?

I would on all counts. Other wise when you get pulled over and the plates say you drive a white car, and your in a blue car, they will check everything and it could be a slight pain in the ass(might treat you as a stolen car/tag type deal). Also some insurance's will charge more for certain colors like red from what im told.

Hey everybody. I have been doing some thinking. I am going to be repainting the car this winter. I am gonna strip it down and block it and redo it so I can get rid of the flaws that only I know about.LOL I have been thinkin maybe about a color change. I changed it from red to blue about 3 years ago. I still like the blue, but I thought, I im gonna do it again, do I wanna go blue again? I have kinda been thinkin about pearl white with a black top. I would love to see my engine bay in pearl white, with a pearl white valve cover, intercooler pipes and some other stuff. I think it would look sick. What do you guys think? Think I should do it blue again with the black top or change it.

Let me know,
Anthony

personally, Blue is my color of choice, if i could paint my car any color, it would be the color of yours, no joke...

the pearl white sounds nice esp with the black top, and if yo do what you said you wanted to do under the hood to match, i think is would look very nice, a nice clean sexy kinda look, i hope to one day have the time and money to do that...just my .02...

I thought I had a color in mind but now I'm stumped and need to think of one soon so i can spray the engine bay and get the buschur 6 bolt i had built dropped in it and spray the rest of the car. I'd like to get it done before the shoot out so if any one has any ideas I have about a week to make a decision. Thanks in advance. Oh and this might help also I'm going with the talon bumpers front and rear and the side skirts. Saw it on a spyder on here and wow was it sexy!!!!:D

Blue and Red are all over the place and not my favorites. I have this fetish of painting every eclipse and talon I own acura nsx omra orange. I was going to do the same with the but that will bring the total to 4 and 2 that I still own.

I'd recommend silver then. My old GS was silver and when I went to go get all the supplies for the paint and body I picked up HoK Orion Silver. To be honest... when I first got my red AWD I wanted to paint it silver, no questions asked. Now that I've been driving it around, I'm kinda growing partial to the red. One thing is for sure... the OEM red HAS to go.

Not black . :notgood: . To hard to keep clean . What color is top , probably do not want to change that . Look at the dodge site for the new Viper colors . I like the venom red , snake skin green , and the gts blue .

1G paint job I did I thought it was a little to ricey.

I'm liking the ideas of dark silver, STILL HAVE A HUGE THING FOR ORANGE!!!! and the blackcherry.

So after a few times of hard thinking I have finally decided that I want to paint my car a metallic silver.

The only problem is I don't know a place around I live. By the way I am located in the (818), North Hills area.

I have some good parts to make my car a little fast, now I just want a good Looking car. LOL

So if you ladies and gentlemen can help me find a good place, It would be greatly appreciated.

Also I am not a very rich man. So I hope we can place that in there too.

Thank you.

I would go with pearl black, or dark pearl green (almost black) my brother previous beemer, dark green in direct sunlight. My current car is maroon pearl (wild berry) Not too bad either, interesting color. Check out the pics. The only other color I have not seen on a car is a dark mattish grey color that you can choose in NFS underground 2, not sure if you know what I'm talkin gabout, but that looked really good.

Bright yellow!

My vote (which will not even be considered) is for a dark dark charcoal. Found on newer Audis. Heavily metallic and demands respect.

Screw it...paint it orange!

When can I drop my car off at the shop? I don't know how that Caddy snuck in there before me...?

a dark or deep silver almost charcol but not that dark...sorry if it sounds confusing...but i think that, maybe with a CF hood would look absolutley gorgeous with the talon bumpers...
