The shop that has my car noticed that first gear was grinding and reverse was slipping so they pulled it and this is what they found (pictures below) i am not sure whether or not i want to cry shoot myself in the head or beg my wife to let me spend the money:nono:.... sooo if anyone can explain what possibly could have caused this sort of damage. I just recently purchased this dsm and just want to know for my own sanity what i can bi*** about when people ask me why it needs to be rebuilt.

if im thinking right thats your diff and wheel hop can cause it or running 2 diffrent size tires
 
sorry buddy but no wheel hop here its a awd and that is multiple components its my intermediate shaft, reverse idler gear, pinion gear, and a gear out of the center differential and the center diff housing
