What can be Eliminated for race setup!

I am building a 95 GSX and i already removed the stock motor along with all the A/C componets. What else can be removed that will clean up the space that is not needed. I know all vacuum lines arent needed (except for boost,wastegate ect) so what should be removed and any suggestions of what i can get out of there would be great!

Underneath 2g battery there is a circular plastic unit? Curious if i can remove that..or is that my vacuum sorce...

Could all stock boost sources and plugs be removed..

it sounds like the circular plastic thing youre describing is your charcoal canister. if so you can safely remove it. I have a 1g but everything i removed from my engine compartment should still apply. i removed, all vaccum lines and the sensors it connects to, A/C, Heater, A/C fuses, Cruise control, Power steering, A/C condenser, i even hid my engine harness behind the firewall. overall my engine bay looks very clean.

you got dsmlink + going for race:
you can loose all the silinoids on the firewall -
loose the cruise -
yes the can under the tray can go-
You can also look into converting to non- abs brakes. (loose the abs pump)

Stock fuel lines, fuel tank, interior, sound deadening, all emmissions equipment...
Is it for drag? If so ditch the PS equipment, and get the smallest radiator that will keep the car cool down the track.
Heat shields, cut the underside of the hood, ditch the fender linings...

The car is not going to be a drag car, its going to be a weekend driver/ Daily driver if needed to be. I want everything possible out of there i do not need!

What is needed to take charcoal canister out? Can i just remove it and thats it?
Where do i get vacuum from when i eliminate all the vacuum units that were plugged in on firewall.(INTAKE MANIFOLD?)
