The block deck appears to still be true, so I'm going to forego any machine work on that. I did use this opportunity to get a new, ported head with new valves and new springs. I also did a ton of reading over the past few days on composite vs MLS, APRs, L19s, A-1s, etc. Decided to go with a felpro composite gasket, and my current ARP head studs. From what I've been reading, this setup should meet my needs.
