I has a greddy type S loved it, and now have a type RS and i love it more than the S has a slight whistle but subtle so it doesnt let the ninjas think you are coming for them. (the type S sounded like the Zelda sword if youre wondering)

Tial Q 50mm ,sounds good and people get a kick out of watching the valve open when I let it blow off.

get a 1g bov and hook a duck call up to it.

The HKS blow off valve sounds cool but is also known for causing compressor surge more than it should for it's price.

I agree with the Tial comment. It's loud if you like that, it sounds great, it's a amazing quality blow off valve and it holds A LOT of boost.

The HKS is also known for being horrible when being recirculated. If you don't believe me just read all the posts about them.

A 1g bov would more than suit your setup. No need to go spend a bunch of money on a HKS, or some other name brand just for the sound.

You should go ahead and buy mine. Guarantee you'll never find one like it.

Functionality is great but alittle extra dough can make that car all the more aggresive esthetically.

I've ran the HKS SSQV (version 1), a Tial Alpha Q, Tial Q, and an NGR.

Of all those, I prefer the TiAL. The build quality is great, the release is quick and it can release a higher volume of air at once than the others. I love the sound of the NGR, but if I ever find something wrong with the NGR, I'll be getting a TiAL for the talon as well.

The problem I had with the HKS was the flutter under normal driving conditions. It drove me nuts. (E316G was the turbo at the time). The NGRs top actually loosened over time due to my stiff motor mounts, I assume, and leaked. I simply re-tightened and its been fine since. The TiAL's only issue is making sure you get the right spring for your setup.
