What belt can you see?

I took my car to shop,and welll it a while to get out(2 weeks) . ANywayz, they replaced a belt that went out during a test drive and I figured that was good cause they replaced it and did labor for free.BUT! i pop the hood and i notice that one of the belts was not on the line right and its starting to shred WTF so. Before i call and tell them I want to know what belt is that? thanks alot for your time.

A pic would help confirm but im pretty sure your talking about the power steering pump belt, either that or the alternator belt.

Without a picture, my best guess is that the waterpump pully was put on backwards.

i know its one of the belts that isnt covered. In fact its the belt that lies right next to the one that are covered. I will work on getting a picture soon.

the top most belt is for the p/s pump

but the belt closest to the timin cover is ur ac belt
