What are you're MAFT settings??

Well, I don't know a lot about your turbo, where do you get full boost by in 3rd gear?? Also, you want to read the O2 voltage from the front O2 sensor, before the cat. Lean out your WOT setting one click to the left, and you need to increase the idle another click or two it sounds like. IF your knock goes up in 3rd and 4th gear pulls at the top then turn it back to the right 2 clicks. Basically you have to add or subtract fuel to get your knock down to 1 or 2 counts max. Timing you want at above 20 at WOT above 5500+. The timing should drop than raise as you increase rpms at WOT as long as the ecu sees no knock.

I had my car at 15 psi and while it did feel a bit faster here and there the higher knock was killing timing and power for sure.I can't seem to break even my narrow 15s free with my 50 trim.Maybe at 20psi or above. Not sure why.Maybe my new 264/272 hks cams will help in that department when get then in shortly.

I had very annoying phantom knock today.Off idle quite a few times but other times nothing.Car does serious boggin when its like 43 counts off idle.Annoying as heck.

But I have stock intercooler what can I expect might be crap gas too going to try gallon of xylene I have lying around shortly and try some other gas stations to see if that helps.

I am on edge of ordering a water injection system.WWW.coolingmist.com seems to have some nice ones.Could make one too but just buy it and install it.Just can't decide on dual stage or single stage. And can't decide on intercooler .Didn't want to do much hacking and wondering if the small new dejon street cooler will be enough combined with water alco injecton.20psi street should be fine for me with 25 on track with race gas the very occasional time.Past 25 not really into going that high or if there is even a point.Wonder at what psi these 50 trims run out of steam.

I for sure wouldn't call my car scary right now.Its not slow and not super fast but haven't timed it for a bit.Last time it ran 15.3 at 95mph with like a 2.5 60ft or something I think it was but that was with some things fubar like alternator. Now the roads aren't so great but might try again soon. This turbo I though would be in the 13s low 14s at even 10psi.

Anyway guys my new eprom ecu still didn't show today either.Getting very impatient.

My car is exactly the same as keep reading on board. You richen it a click or two and get rid of the knock but then the car bucks and sputters up top.You lean it and you get fine pull up top to redline but then it gets knock out the butt.Haven't tried to fine tune my wot yet though.Waiting for new ecu.Seems can't find the sweet spot but maybe it don't exist on crappy octane and a stock intercooler.Still its like around 32 degrees or a bit colder here now and thought the big intercooler could wait till next spring. Maybe it can't if I want any kind of decent boost and timing.

Or maybe I have a big boost leak too..got to get my compressor back from the shop.

AL92 -

YOU NEED A FRONT MOUNT!!!! :p

Seriously, a stock side mount is only good for around 12 psi or so maybe more like 10. THEY SUCK.

Water injection is the last thing I would worry about right now, just be patient and get that new ecu in there, that will most likely take care of your part throttle/off idle knock. :thumb:
