ok basically my question is there is low compression in the #3 cylinder this is because my vacuum line came disconnected off my external gate ...she spiked and hit 28 PSI I was only tuned for about 19 im runnin a SCm61 btw I let off within 500 RPM of hitting full boost.... I was runnin a mitsu MLS headgasket ..... if i rev the car up to about 2500 there is no smoke but if i go to about 4k or so it blows blue smoke I was runnin the stock headbolts that had been re used basically im asking what you guys THINK it would be ... rings or Headgasket im personally leaning rings but.....Just wanted to get some others opinions

pull the head, if it's the gasket, you'll be able to see where it's blown... if it's not, then it's prolly rings... which means you're going to have to change the rings... bad news is that overboosting without fuel can ruin pistons too... so you're going to need to check your ring lands, make sure they're not coming apart like this guy's

STOP! Dont drive it anymore. Do a leak Down test. It can also be that cylinder #3 is about to spin a rod bearing. Thats what happened to me after a 20 psi spike and low compression in cylinder #3. Most likely its the rings, they need to be replaced.

Yea im not driving it anymore tore the head off and hte HG came apart in layers...and my headbolts felt a little loose ....anyway .. there is no markings on the cylinder wall like there would be if i tore rings up and kept driving it right? im gonna throw it back together and do a leak down test with a new headgasket and see..
