From what I've heard the rear wheels will spin faster than the front ones and you'll have terrible traction in the rain and snow. I read a post on another forum about a guy that had the wrong tranny and the back wheels would lock up.

You would thnk that if one set of tires was spinning faster than the other , you would be able to hear "chirping" on acceleration on dry pavement as well. What symptoms are you having?

I guess you didn't check the gearing before you installed the transmission, like I suggested. The tires aren't going to chirp because of the viscous center diff. You should've checked the gearing before you installed the transmission.

if shifts good and seems to drive ok, but there is a bad vibrating coming from underneath the car somewhere and when imk in 3rd at 3500-3000rpm it vibrates sooo bad that the shifter vibrtaes out of my hand....wtf?
crusin its not bad....and accererating it mint....like nothing wrong.
decelerating its vibrating tooo.
also to test im gonna put in in fwd mode....and see if it still vibrates....if it does then its not the diff ratios out...it something else right?

Go over the drive shaft with a fine tooth comb. There is a lot of monkey mothion under there. Check the body to shaft insulators the center bearing assemblys and the universal joints.

If any are worn or dying it could vibrate to no end. OMG

i already changed all 3 u joint and installed 2 new mitsu carrier bearings...

trust me its not the problem....it didnt do it before i installed this jdm trans...

i know the shifter cables were tricky to rig up....the shifter arms on the jdm trans are 40% shorter....but i just wanted to know if anyone has symptoms....

i havnt heard the tires chip at all....and every person tells me that this trans will work....

but you never know...

i was driving it going 140kph last night and its fine...

im losttttttttttttttttttt

and jdm info would help me sooo much
