What and where does this sensor goes to?

This is a 6 bolt motor which came off of the 90 eclipse FWD. I have circle this sensor. This sensor mounts on the intake manifold with the black and white wire going to it. You can see from the picture that the knock sensor is close to it. I have searched but no luck.

Looks to be the noise filter on 90 vehicles.

What noise does it filter? I can not find a place where it suppose to plug in to. Will it be a problem if left unplug?

Yes it's from a 90... Totally not needed in anything 91+ Just unbolt it from the intake plenum brace and forget about it.

It is only specific on 90 vehiles. It was used for the tach signal.

BTW, I'd toss that bracket in the garbage. Its just one more pain in the ass thing to remove if you ever need to pull the head.
