Literally any vendor.

Negative ghost rider.....

Im stuck in the same situation as well i cant find ONE place that sells a 1g intercooler piping kit with out the fmic included......:banghead:

LOL it is, its my gf's blanket. i had just got home with this intercooler and she gave me a look like WTF not more car parts.

also if anyone has a similar intercooler i would like to see the way you routed your pipes.

LOL I knew it LOL. My little sister has one thats why I was able to tell LOL.

Well anyways back to the subject. The cheapest option would be just buying universal piping from ebay and beading it yourself. Just be careful cus somethings it could end up costing you just as much as it would cost to get a complete kit and in the end you will have something that won't even fit right.

first you need to take dimensions, including the inlet/outlet diameter. most short route piping runs on both sides of the radiator support but that intercooler looks like it may be a little long. you may have to do some non-standard stuff to make this work

no im not goin short route, this one goes fog light to fog light and i been looking around and kinda have a idea on how its gonna work for me now. im kinda on a budget and a ebay universal kit and ebay j pipe seems to fit what im looking to spend.

It is very difficult to route the piping on the hot side off the turbo to the endtank of the intercooler on a 1G AWD. There is very little room to go around the frame and sneak past the engine without rubbing. Not to mention all the bends you are going to use to twist like a snake through that area. There will be no room for clamps and couplers in that area so the bends would all have to be welded so take that into consideration when pricing making all the piping.

I have been through this with customers for a long time with 1g AWD cars. They bring me an intercooler like that and want it installed. But with all the added cost in the end it is always cheaper and much more simple to go with a VRSF or Punishment style FMIC. Also that intercooler you have there is very small CFM wise. A VRSF 1g kit is more then twice that size and is a bolt on affair.

This is how I set mine up, with an ebay piping kit. I had the bov pipe, and throttle elbow previously. The intercooler was a modified grand national core.

Its kind of rigged, but it fit much better than the j-pipe I had.

what the hell is that soppossed to mean?

If your talking about misterebechy, Hes saying get some ebay universal kit to make it work.

Overall the piping will be much easier than actually mounting the core. How do you plan on doing that anyways?

Try Ebay, Dejon, VRSF, or Punishment. You might have to call the vendors, and ask for a quote for an Intercooler Pipe kit, tell them what you need, and ask if they can hook you up. But, it probably beats Ebay, those pipes are often shitty. Very thin, made of crappy metal, and not beaded.

If you can find a seller with good reviews, or reviews of a specific product by a specific seller maybe go with ebay. But honestly, I have seen those kits literally rust through in a year or less around the bent parts because they use coated steel/iron tube that is very thin, and crush bend them.

Also:

Your gonna have to weld some mounting tabs to the intercooler as It does not appear to have any. Good luck with that.

I would honestly sell that core. And purchase a VRSF 1g Short Route kit for 285$... Its just to damn cheap not too. I plan grabbing the 1g Kit at some point before they get the back in stock and the price goes back up.

My ebay pipes are beaded polished aluminum. 4ply couplers, medium quality t bolt clamps, and the pipes or the same quality, or better the the punishment kit.

Do your homework, don't just hate. Its pipe, pipe for gods sake. How hard can it be to make pipe LOL??

However in this case Im with tanro LOL buy the VRSK kit if its only 285

Humm wonder what vendor on Here has the highest rating :) I'll give you a hint they sell Intercoolers. ....But hey everyone these days are to cheap... An dont wanna pay to play...
