Last week a new dyno was opened like 10 min from wherei live. I was with my friends testing a lancer rally art and i decided to test run mine. The day before i was out of gas and when i went to the gas station they only had 89oct. SO the dyno run was with 89oct and 24 month old spark plugs. My apexi AVCR wasnt set up really good and i had a boost peak os 1.00 bar (14.7psi) and .65 bar (9.5spi) from 4500rpm to 7500rpm.

my curent setup is:
K&N Filter
Ebay intake pipe
Greddy i/c pipes
stock intercooler
HKS BOV
Stock manifold, t25, 02 housing, downpipe
2.5inch press bent ugly exhaust with 2inch muffler
Unorthodox underdrive pulley
Apexi AFC (no logger no idea how is it tuned) and AVCR
Walbro 255, stock injectors and aeromotive fpr set to 43psi base.
145k mile completeley stock engine ( virgin )
compression test were #1, 185 #2, 185 #3, 185 #4, 190

my friends made me run my car and i said why not $20 for 2 runs
so the results were
1st run 171.44hp and 200.43 tq
2nd run 176.23hp and 190.62 tq

My questioons are what are all those peaks in the graph? is it because of the bad plugs?
sorry about the picture i dont have a scanner so i took a pi of the graph.
Why is too big the diference in tq on both runs?

off my apexi TT said that the A/F ratio was allways below 10.0a/f all the time

In the top right corner it should say "smoothness", what number smoothness was it set at? It should be like 3 for tuning 4 for baseline runs, less can make it spikey. If not I'd blame it on the gas. See the way the power shot way up with full boost and then dropped way down? Probably because timing got pulled hard from the crap gas.

The 10 ft/lb difference is because the intercooler was getting hotter. Without someone spraying the intercooler and sufficent cool down time between runs, my car also lost 10 ft/lb every successive run.

The reason you lost torque and not power is because you're torque peak was at very low rpm and torque dropped so fast, it didn't even make a difference by the time it went through the power peak. You need to redyno it on real gas, then you can make some useful conculsions.

Can you take a picture in some better light or use a flash? I'd like to be able to actually see the chart.;)

Ouch.... I'd hate to see what it would look like on 3. Definately get some good gas and redo it. The power will be higher and being able to see what kind of powerband you have now is an excellent way to plan future mods.

And turn your fuel pressure down.:thumb:

Im thinking on testing it again this weekend, beacuse un about 1 or 2 months i will be in another different level setup like fmic 50trim 660's full 3exh and cut off.

Should i test on plain 93oct?
93 mixed with VP C116?
pure C116?

im looking for 210+ whp and 210+tq

If you're just looking for a number then use straight C16, its meaningless but it will give you bragging rights.

If you want a useful, informative number, test it on whatever gas you normally run. My car hit 210awhp with just a turbo back exhaust, very dirty K&N, and a s16G @ 15psi. I'm not sure if a T25 is going to make 210whp.

I just noticed you got an AFC. Lean it out to at least 11:1. You should pick up good power if you're way under 10:1 now. And LOWER THE FUEL PRESSURE!:thumb:

yes, i'm a DSM noob.....but i thought the base fuel pressure on a turbo'd 2g DSM was 43 psi(adjusted with vaccum line disconnected)?! what do you suggest lowering it to? I also have a walbro 255/afpr like jeanDSM and have my base pressure set to 43?!OMG
