went through water

I let my friend borrow my car yesterday, and he called me up and said it stalled. he said he didn't go through any really deep puddles. I have a AEM CAI.

My car now won't start, it barely kicks over, like a tiny but, but does not finish. It kind of just clicks over.

I don't think i got hydrolock, well at least i want to check everything than that will be my last resort.
I was wondering, what could the water have damaged to have done this

When you suck water threw the intake. Water doesnt compress like air does.. Hydrolock = bad
