Thats a picture of my laser before it was painted.

Here are pictures of it now, only primer or course yet but I also got an eclipse spoiler on it.
Yeah, sure not earth shattering but I'm dead tired..sick to death of masking tape and figured I'd post a picture. Can't wait to get some real paint on'r in a few weeks.

LoL!

I'll tell you what IS hardcore...driving around a car that looks like bought it off a clown. The primer is a marked improvment.

In the next few weeks hopfully I'll get the time I need to lay on the paint and clear. It'll be yellow and black(same scheme as the red one in my sig but repace the red with yellow). I'm not trying for a hardcore show room paint job, its so I can sell it. I made the desicion to fix all its problems and make it pretty, its always ran like a top but was an ugly duckling.

I also dyed the seats black/grey on saturday. I took a stiff brush to the seats and the soft fabric feel came back...I think applying the dye in a different mannor would make the feel better. I'll probably try a new method when I do the ones in my red talon.

hey, you may be able to help me. I wanted to get some body work and paint done in the summer and maybe use an eclipse spoiler. My question is did you do body work before that as well? Because my problem is that my car is full of door dings, dents, and hail dents, yes hail dents. Should I get a shop to Bondo my whole car or try to repair all the dents? If you can't help don't worry about it, I'm going to ask a body shop soon.

For a proper job the dents should be removed. The cheap fast way you can bondo over them and it'll be ok if its not too deep. If the dent is too deep it should be popped unless you want it cracking in a year or so. The shop should know when to say when..1/8th" is absolute max depth IMO...I almost never get even that thick.
