Well i was just driving down the road hardly hit any boost and shifted heard some serious rattling and then rpms shot up smoked started pooring outta the hood pulled it over (car died)popped the hood and dipstick wasnt there and oil covered my whole engine bay. Thinking my timing belt went but couldnt take cover off waiting till tomorrow any other suggestions?

Not sure but you could have thrown a rod. Friend did that and it put a nice little hole in his engine. Needless to say oil was everywhere. That or there was a pressure build up of some sort. Sucks, hope it was something easy and simple but best of luck to ya.

My timing belt snapped five years ago when I was cruising at 30. Luckily I had already put it in neutral and let the rpm go down to like 700. Right when it died I knew exactly what it was. There were marks on the pistons from where the valves hit, but no major damage.

No oil though.
