Just seeing if anyone has ran accross this. There is squeeking coming from the motor on the timing belt side, towards the fire wall. I thought is was the idler pulley, so, i replaced it along with the tensioner pulley. After I replaced the pulleys, there was no squeeking. I have been driving the car for almost a week, and the squeeking came back. It increases with RPMs and almost sounds like a loose belt. I only have one belt on there (alt, wp) and its not that. The squeeking still comes from the timing belt side of the motor, on the firewall side. Has anybody ran across this? Thanks guys!

Take all of your accessory belts off. Run the engine briefly so as to determine if it's belt driven or inside the timing cover. You could have an idler pulley on the timing belt going bad. If you can't get it to go away by removing all the accessory belts, I'd take a very close look at the timing belt idlers

Good Luck

Timing cover is rubbing on a belt or pully?
