I have a 91 gsx with 130k on it and i was pulling out of the gas station today and when i was in first my car was at about 2k rpms and it sounded like it was at 5k or 6k.. then the same in second and it felt like there was a vibrating and u coudl feal it in the gas pedal? it felt kind of like metal on metal. and when u give it a little gas and it goes up to 2k rpms it sounds like it is at 5 or 6 ? anyone please help

I'm not sure but it may be your coil pack. Do you get heavy vibrating from the engine even at idle? I'm pretty sure if one of your coils goes out your tach drops half way and some cylinders not firing would definitely cause lots of vibrateing although it would be tough to get it to run on just 2 cylinders. It's along the same line as the power trans that ltvarney was talking about and they are know to go.
