Well today I'm out with this hot girl and she's also my really good friend. And she has been begging for a ride in my car for a long time. So I take her out, and I hear like a rubbing sound, not loud, not too quiet. It sounded like my rotor was rubbing on my caliper. And I could only hear it when I would let off the pedal and coast the car going like 5 mph. Like it would rub, wheel would make one complete rotation and you would hear the rubbing again. My friend sai it might be a wheel bearing. But I don't feel anything in the wheel when I'm driving. What is wrong with my car?

I talked with Roast Beef, and he said that maybe the dust sheild is touching the rotor. Well sure enough I went out and took and look at it, and the dust sheild was touching the rotor. So I'll try bending it back today and seeing if the noise is still there.

You may have a brake pad the is completely worn down to the metal.....usually the inside pad..the one you can see until you take it apart.

If the caliper slides are not properly lubricated, it will eventually stop moving...so the inside pad gets pushed by the piston and applied more than the outside pad...therefore wearing much much faster on the inside pad...if it worn down to the metal plate, it will give you that sound.
