weird noise from front right side wheelwell?

ok im kinda stumped because i had the my car takin to a chrysler dealler ship to be looked at. the car is making a clincking noise like the tire is hitting a peace of tin but every time i look every thing looks tight under the wheel whell. The thing is when i had the car into the shop i had them check all of the recalls and to double check them and now this, what do you guys think i should do. i had a freind tell me its my controle arm but im not sure yet. any segestions would help thanks.

Is it constant while driving or only in turn. If its in turns it sound like a bad cv joint

You do anything with your brakes? Is your dust shield loose and hitting the brakes or something when braking, turning, etc?

Does it start clicking when you turn? if so, I actually have the same problem. It's your inner tie rod. I haven't had a chance to replace it yet but I had it checked out by my local shop which does all the cars for my family for years and that's what they figured it was. Ask your guys to check that out next time they look at it.

well it only makes the noise on harder left hand turns. i havent done anything to mod the brakes yet as far as i know there perfectly stock. ill check this weekend im hoping its just a dust gard. thanks for the replys.

well when i was changing my oil i looked at both sides of the car where the CV joints are located. the CV joint on the left side of the car is bad, ill try to post some pics soon. a couple of other questions is where should i buy a new one? and how much do you think it will take to replace this peice? thanks

I bought the Passenger side drive axel from Advance autoparts for $70.00. I cant see the drivers side being much more then that if not less. Check with them first, they should have one or be able to get one. If not go through the dealer.

Advance autoparts i got mine last year...$135 both.I think the pass side was $75.
Make sure when you swap it to check the tranny fuild/fill it again, and also watch for leaks down the road for a while.

so do the CV joints from advanced auto parts come packed with grease? did you buy your CV joint Remanufactured? thanks for the link the pictures should come in very handy.

Yes packed with grease. Everything, ready to go on. I dont think they were remans.
