Weird missfire

I have a 98 GSX with a 6 bolt swap. Currently I am having weird missfire during cruising. I have replace the wires and the plugs are bosh platnium. The car was running okay a few weeks ago with those plugs so i didn't decide to change them. My next option is the coils. Would i be able to use 2nd gen coils with 1st gen. It also has the 1st gen intake manifold so would i be able to even mount the 2nd gen coils on. I just want some comfirmation before i make some sort of attempt. Thanks

Change to NGK BPR7ES. They always work best in DSM's period.

NGK BPR7ES or 6s if close to stock, those bosch platnums are doing something.
