Ok, so i am just daily driving not even getting on it or anything and all of the sudden my air fuel guage goes to as rich as possible and my car backfires/hesitates and is obviously dumping fuel.. then slowly it will disipate and go back to stoich/lean where it normally sits. Now this only happens occasionaly so im tottaly stumped i know i have a leak from my TB shaft seal but it ive had that for awhile and it never did this...any help is appreciated

Chris

UPDATE:

now at idle it sits normal as im driving is slowly goes from lean to as rich as it can go, and in turn starts hesitating and spitting(dumping fuel)

need help can figure this out

UPDATE:

did a boost test again, shaft seal is badly leaking and Biss screw is now leaking. I just bought a rebuilt 1g throttle body so im gunna throw that on and hope that is the cause of running extremely rich, any other help would really be appreciated

STOP NOW!!!! Your first mistake is trusting that light show to tell you anything about the true air fuel ratio of your car. You are using a narrow band o2 sensor to monitor things when a wideband o2 sensor is the only tru accurate way to monitor the a/f ratio. My advice sell it get yourself a AEM UEGO wideband kit for lioke 225 pricey compared to the light show yes but actualy useful and then let us know hwo your car is running.

o first im not a noob to dsm's so even tho i do no infact it is sumwhat of a lightshow... i know my car heh,1st i have it directly wired to its own 02 sensor, 2nd it sits pretty acurratly to how my cars air/fuel is (not great but shows me if im running rich) which i in fact am, as soon as that thing hits the green my car start hesitating and bogging down( so in turn it isnt doing that bad of a job) but i just swapped TB's and i am letting the gasket sealer set, so i will update you asap
