weird acceleration

So for about the past two weeks my car basically wont accelerate before it gets fully up to temp. It takes me like 30-40 secs to go from a dead stop to 45 mph, and it doesn't matter on throttle position. The weird thing is while it's doing this is my boost gauge read about 7 psi at about 2200 rpms and starts spooling around 1600. After a while it will stop sucking and accelerate like normal. I don't think it's a boost leak because it spools so hard once it stops doing this. And my throttle is not getting stuck. Is there anything going on with the car that won't allow it to accelerate until it gets up to temp and put so much of a load on the engine that it builds boost so early?

auto or 5spd? if its an auto make sure you are using ATF+3 and stay away! from that B&M trick shift shit!..

also do a compression check we had one car that kinda did what you are talkin about and it turned out to be low compression

my car did this to me as well...I have an auto...it was really cold outside though and my theory was the tranny was not warmed up yet...just let the car warm up a little prior to driving it...although this wont really warm the tranny up it will still help if the car is doing it because its still in open loop mode...I wouldnt worry much about it really unless its posing a big issue for you.

Coolant temp sensor? it communicates with ecu and has some effect on your fuel trims on a cold start up.
