What is going on with that door cap and no side skirts? That looks funny with out the skirts.
That bumper looks good. but you need a paint job.

lower? No way man! if someone sold 3inch lift rally coilovers I would buy them in a heartbeat LOL. IMHO I think an awd anything should be able to hop a curb, not to mention it makes the car much easier to get in and out of. I still have my work cut out for me and will keep you all posted if anyones interested.

It looks OK...

but you need a paint job...

:talon:

Also, if you don't plan to rally it don't raise it!

IMO raised looks :barf:

if its a street car leave it stock or lower a inch or 2

:talon:

hey man looks good. i had a big set of tires in my car 225/55/17 they filled out the wheel wells great too bad they rubbed. i like the higher looking stance. :thumb: keep up the good work.

Well the car is far from finished as you all can tell, but I Made more progress this weekend.
the side skirts are now on and the wheels .....and tires;) have been replaced. im going to start getting it ready to visit the local paint shop this coming weekend. meanwhile the wheels are going to be powdercoated gloss black (in my kitchen oven no less,) it should effectively smoke the wife out of the house LOL. jk) Im gonna use an old oven sitting in the shed out back. I sprayed the old ones to see how it would look and i was impressed. Black on black looks awesome!

As far as the conversion, the majority of the car is a 92 talon tsi awd with limited slip i removed the front clip and drilled all the spot welds on the support brackets (likewise on the parts car) and welded the 91 tsi brackets on the 92. After that i just put her together. Why would i do this you ask, well the 92's front clip and doors were dented to hell and the doors took the fenders with them. and my 91 is an automatic. My 91 talon was a black with silver tsi. Sweet combo i think and i always wanted to put the 1gb tails on it, and swap to a manual. hence the project. Believe it or not the previous owner of the 92 only put 43000 miles on the car and it came with all the service records in the glove compartment. Ill post more pics and info this weekend. thanks for looking even though i may have offended some of you LOL.
