I've only found good reviews, I can't find one bad review anywhere on the net. Almost sounds to good to be true. But either way, I decided to get the caps replaced in my eprom and get the eprom flashed and socketed. Also is having your class III legal in mich? My goal is to get either a MAC 10, 11, or 12.

I have applied for my class 3 weapon.
What reason do you have to get a class III FFL? Are you a firearm dealer? The reason I ask is that, from what I remember, the ATF will not approve class III apps for anyone other than dealers with insurance.

I am looking into it, I have started my paper work. I am still not sure if its what I want to do. And just because you are a Dealer does not mean you have to sell what you purches. My uncle did it for that very reason. So he could purches the firearms he wants. With out dealing through someone else

Been away for quite some time, but I just picked up my newest addition to my very very small collection.

I needed something between my little 9mm (Springfield XD) and my Mossberg 500A 12g shotty. I also wanted to be able to use this as a carry pistol if I end up getting my CCW license. What I decided on was this....

The Para-Ordinance Warthog. A 3-inched barrel 1911 style .45 with a 10+1 capacity and a lightweight alloy lower receiver. The pistol weighs in at 24oz empty. Quite a sweet little package. I picked this guy up (with a replacement trigger) NIB with 2 mags for around $700.

Took it out the other day to see how it shot. I must say I was extremely pleased. At 30 feet I was able to manage ~4" groupings with slow and accurate shooting. With some double taps, I was at ~6" groups, which IMO is pretty darn good for a 3" barrelled .45. The recoil was not even close to what I thought it would be; it was very managable. Only thing I did find out the hard way is how loud it was. I forgot my hearing protection and was 'hearing-impaired' for about 36 hours. That was kind of scary.

All in all though, very awesome gun in such a small package. If anyone is looking for a nice carry gun, and has a preference for a .45, I highly suggest looking at this gun.

I've been eyeing this since my 5" xd isn't the best concealed carry gun considering my small frame.

I'm glad to see I'm not the only Xd fan here. Have a 9mm and a bi-tone .40 and they are just as good if not better than the overpriced Glocks.

I was real close to buying a bi-tone 4" 9mm, but then i found a shop that had the 5" .40 in stock for a real good price and made the purchase.

Nice, I haven't even had a chance to fire the .40 yet because of all the damn snow around here. I just picked up a new ar-15 on thursday and hopefully will be able to get out there this weekend and test them both out. :)

If you want to buy a gun, go to a dealer. They sell used as well as new. This isn't like buying a car. The cops don't hunt you down because you bought a car that some other guy got a speeding ticket in, but I'd never buy a used gun.

just saw this thread and decided to put up a picture of my friends collection, not sure if it's just a collection or an obsession for him

Thanks now I dont have to post a pic of my Glock 26. Mine is identical, right down to the mag extender. Most reliable gun I have ever shot!

That's great. I guarantee you that 99% of the people in this thread own their guns for home protection and for sport. No matter what sort of regulations and rules you put against personal gun ownership it won't change the fact that criminals will always find a way to get ahold of firearms.

I love mine, 10,000 rounds in one day with no problems. It has never jammed on me.
