waterpump/ alternator belt keeps blowing

ok so ive replaced my waterpump alternator belt twice now and it just blew out again there has to be something else wrong..... all pulleys spin freely and nothing is bent or out of shape im very confused. also the branad new front roll stop mount i got off the internet, its snapped clean off already. how in the hell does it break off completely? and its brand new! well was and that clunk was still there the whole time i had it in! and was new

please help im very confused with this car.......

Does the water pump have any shaft play? In/out or side/side?

Then either that water pump pulley isn't on straight or somethings funky on the alternator side. Has to be an alignment problem.

theres no play whatsoever, also alternator seems like it spins harder then it should but it still spins very freely, also never had battery problems, so it works when the belts there

All alternators have a slight amount of resistance. After all your spinning a good little chunk of weight in there, but it shouldn't be any harder than any other alternator. Can't really describe how much resistance it should have, that's just something you should learn after working on cars enough.

yeah i know, it feels just fine, it was jsut hard to reach. i am totally lost on this car as of now .....

If everything checks out good, it has to be an alignment issue some where or a tensioning problem. It simply can be nothing else unless the water pump pulley is reversed.

Scratch that, your pulley IS, garaunteed, on backwards. Just went outside and checked, mine is on the opposite way, with no issues.

Apparently you just posted a pic, instead of going to the posted link and figuring it out yourself. Could have been solved a couple days ago fella. Just sayin.

No one at all said it was correct, actually no mentioned on the pic at all. Probably because they didn't care to go look when you said it wasn't possible.

Shouldn't be hard at all. 4 bolts lift the pulley out. Flip it around. Put the bolts in and belts on. Getting at the bolts might not be simple, but most things with cars don't usually go easy. If they do, somethings wrong.

Haha I'll it this way. I've had my car a year and a half with zero belt issues. I beat my car thoroughly every day. I went to this link, brought up your pic on my iPhone, enlarged the pic and thoroughly compared the 2. Yours is def backwards from mine, 100% garaunteed, and yours you can't keep a belt on. Which I have done so for a year and a half. Any more questions?
