I have the senders for the gauges and everything is hooked up but the sending units. I really dont have a clue were they go or if I need to do anything befor I connect them. ANY help would be great guys, thanks in advance.

I believe for the water temp gauge goes right under the thermostat theres 2 plugs ones for your stock gauge and one regulates temp for the block the one closest to the thermo is for the block tap into the bottom one. Check first though warm up car 5 min or turn off unplug batt. unplug lower conn. reconn battery turn on car if stock gauge needle doesnt rise thats where you thread in your gauge.Hope this helps :talon:

oil sender is on the back of the block, (pretend your laying under the car) top left hand side. 3/8 npt fitting. Get a tee fitting if you still want the stock gauge to work, but not needed as you won't get a cel light leaving it unconnected .

It may have been almost 6 months, now, since I've driven Daisy, but I'm fairly certain there is no stock oil guage. Just a dummy light. Pretty sure that dummy light is not afiliated with the CEL either. So removing the OPSU will likely result in no CEL and a constantly on oil pressure warning light. Just my two cents on the matter.

There are two sensors screwed into the water neck under the thermostat. One feeds the in-dash temp gauge, the other is used by the ECU to determine engine operating temp for fuel calculations, etc.. If the one goes out on you, your gauge craps out on you. If the other goes out on you, the car will tend to run like shit.

The water temp gauge can be hooked directly to your existing thermostat housing. You will notice an existing wire going to it. Just splice into it.

The oil temp sensor.. Now some people have it drilled into their oil pan. Some (like me) have it run on my oil feed line for my turbo. My oil pressure is also on this line.

There is no stock oil gauge and the oil pressure sensor is simply for the idiot light on the dash and has no corillation to to a check engine light. IF you unplug the sensor entirely (which I did) the light on the dash doesn't even come on. Quite pointless IMO.

uh yea sorry dr and sue I guess i didn't mean to say "gauge" I was only talking in relation to the sender and in all reality could be considered one(gauge) as it does monitor low oil pressure, but your smarts have proved me wrong i guess.
