oil pressure & water temp gauge

Hey guys i just had the new rebuilt motor put in a few months back. and had a problem with it overheating and going bad. so i have decided to run a water temp. gauge to my interior along with a oil pressure. both mechanical. Or where could i get an electric water temp.? and where would i install it on the enginge?
