water pump on 1.8l eclipse 1g

Hi all eclipse guru,
I need your help!
I noticed some coolant fluid under timing belt, so went to my "maintenance man", he says I have to change the water pump!
I searched the forum about, but never found something about 1.8l 1G eclipse:
do I need to change timing belt if I want to change water pump or is it possible to change the pump without remove the timing belt?
I have to buy all the parts I need before doing the work, because I don't want to stop the car and then discover I need some parts that take a lot of time to be available after order (I live in Italy and my car is an American model!).
In case I have to change time belt could you suggest the list of parts needed?
I know that there are a lot of thread about, but they speak about 1G 2.0 or 2G... never 1G 1.8.
Please help me!

Luckily for you 1.8 parts are cheaper and you don't need as many to do a water pump. It is still highly suggested that you replaced your timing belt when doing a water pump or vise-versa on a 1.8. You are also going to want to replaced the balance shaft belt as well. DO NOT SKIP replacing the balance shaft belt!!! I'll create a list of parts.

Water pump
Water pump gasket
Timing belt
timing belt tensioner pulley
balance shaft belt
balance shaft seal(one for the front shaft, one for the oil pump sprocket)
front crankshaft seal
camshaft seal(if you are feeling ambitious)

Thats pretty much everything you should need parts wise. Its also a good idea to have some of these handy too.

Red loc tite
Blue loc tite
Black/Copper RTV
Brake clean

It's quiteimpossible for me to translate the list above in italian and my shop doesn't know (or pretend to ) what I need without be itself the man who makes the job!
Their prices are foolish!
So I visited this shop:

I would personally just talk to your local autozone, oreillys or pepboys and get the parts listed in the earlier post. I personally had problems buying parts online for my 1.8 when I had it.

You see, sometime cheap is near low quality... I don't know GMB... is it a good quality trade mark which I can buy a timing belt from?
