The car has been apart since I spun the #3 rod bearing on Jun 26th.
She is almost all buttoned up, except the water lines to the turbo (and maybe one more).

Here is what I apparently have left unknown... This is so lame to come this far and be confused with some water lines... Don't bust my chops too bad.

1. ) Hose connection on the throttle body.
2.) One hose connection on the pipe that goes across the front of the block, and along the side. It is pointed skyward on the part of the pipe that goes towards the TB.
3.) A banjo bolted piece of pipe with a TIGHT 90deg bend. NOT a turbo in/out one either !?
Obviously carried water on June 26th. Have no idea where this fits into the equation.

I have attached a photo from the web.
Correct me if wrong.

Blue goes to oil cooler.
Purple goes to BACK of turbo.
Green goes to FRONT of turbo, and then to where !! ??

Thanks Guys,
Jaraxle

Long live the 4g63.

the hoses will only reach so far.....

from what i can tell by that pic

the blue colored hose is correct.

the purple is also correct.

the green is correct, the line goes from the turbo to the hard line which should be right under where the blue hose connects to its hard line...

hope that helped...

The problem I have now is quite simple.
I don't have the "green" hardline on the engine for the turbo water return (from front of turbo).
I do however, have this part (see image) and I don't know where it goes.
Is this the hardline that the "green" hose connects to on the engine ?
If so, what does it thread into ?
The thermostat housing ?
I can't seem to see/feel any threads on the housing for this part.

Any info would be appreciated !

yea uhh that hard line in the pic is supposed to connect to the turbo. look at the pic i attached, its from when my buddy swapped to a evo3b16g. there are TWO water lines, on feed and one return...you can also see the rubber hose (that i circled) that connects to the LOWER hard coolant line on the turbo...

krazywhitboy - Great pic. I appreciate you guys helping me. The problem is the lower red circle. I have both hard lines mounted on the turbo. The question is 1- where does the bottom red circle connect to EXACTLY to the engine and 2- where does the hardline that I attached prior connect to (it doesn't connect to the turbo but somewhere else) ?

Thanks,
Jaraxle

The rubber hose you have circled in red. What is it attached to in the pic? It is bent up to prevent fluid leak, right ? Yeah what the heck is that rubber hose connected to ? That is my prob. No hardline on the block side to return the coolant....

Thanks for the help,
Jaraxle

yea its bent up so the coolant wouldn't leak out. on my car (2ga tsi awd w/14b) that rubber hose connects to another hard line, which then connects directly to that big ass coolant thing that runs across the front of the block....hope that helped...

Well guys..
Thanks for the help.
Apparently the builders of my stage II 7-bolt race block, didn't put the turbo water return block adaptor back on the block! I have attached a pic (of how it should be) for reference. This is why I was so confused. There were no threads for the mistery hard line. The mistery banjo-bolted hard line that I showed above, threads into the adaptor, which threads into the blocks cooling jacket. The water from the turbo returns directly to the water jacket of the block.
A 1g is different, which is the only exploded diagrams I could find... Causing more confusion. Anyhow, the pic shows it all. There is a threaded hole in my block, right where it should be under the water x-over pipe. Which is why no-ones pics were clear to me (you couldn't see the hardline source). The threads are larger than any banjo-bolt I have, but that is because the OEM adaptor brings it down to the right threads size. I want to thank you guys for helping out, what most likely appeared to be a moron trying to put his car back together.

Check out my mods list... Almost everything was done AFTER the engine broke. My wife hates me.
Can't wait to tune this sucker up (after break-in) !

Peace,
Jaraxle
