Also here the right side is also a bit 'wet' but i can't seem to figure out where the water leaks in
(Dumb extra question) Can anyone tell me what that White 'box thing' is for? Could there be a leak? cause the rust is pretty much in/on it as you can see.

I also wanted to add whenever i open my Hatch on a rainy day it really dips so much water down from it which is normal of course but it also dips out from the Plastic trim on the Hatch itself could that be my cause of all the Water in my Trunk?

Sorry that this all is so poorly written English is not my first language and i hope you understand most of it or even all!

Thank you! and Greetings from Germany :)

The white box is a vent, it helps give air in the car an escape when you shut your doors. You could seal around the body of the vent with some silicone but do not block the vent itself.

Most trunk leaks on 2gs come from the drain tubes being blocked; you can see the tube in your last picture going straight down through the floor. Get a hanger or some other stuff wire or some compressed air and clean out the tubes on each side. Also inspect them for cracks and replace them if necessary.

To find your leak it helps if you can have someone run a hose over the car while you're inside it looking around; if you don’t have a hose handy then get in the car next time it rains and look around. Check around the hatch weatherseal as well as around spoiler mounting points and taillights too

Be sure to check the underside of both of those rusty locations. Because of the bright orange color of the rust, there is active moisture inside, but there is a good chance the rust actually started underneath, and spread up through the body seam.

So the leak on the driver (left) side is most definitely from the seal on the antenna being old or defective. I used to have that exact same problem. I replaced the seal, and wire brushed the rust away and soaked it in primer to prevent future rust.

I bought my antenna seal used from someone who was parting out their DSM. I recommend doing the same because they are very hard to find new online.
