Most likely it is the water pump. The weep hole will leak when the pump is dead or dying.

It could be the crossover water pipe o-ring as those tend to fail.

If it is water pump you will be doing the timing belt and seals along with it.

You can delete the balance shaft with the engine in the car but it requires taking off the front case/oil pump housing and dropping the oil pan to get to the balance shaft bearings. You will need to buy a BSE kit and drive out the old BS bearings and install the new set up behind the oil pump.

I did my water pump/timing belts recently. Then went back in a month later to do the timing belt all over again because I didn't change the cam seals. Main seal. Balance shaft seals. CHANGE THE SEALS.

I didn't do a BSE because I didn't want to pull the oil pump case and drop the oil pan. Then fight having to pry out the balance shaft bearings and press in new ones. Seemed like too much work when all I needed was water pump/timing belt. Some might say "while you're in there you might as well BSE" but I couldn't convince myself to go that far.

The car is my daily so I can't have it down any longer than I have to.

If I was building a fresh motor I would delete the balance shafts but instead I just put on Gates Racing Blue belts on timing and balance shaft.

Yeah I'm not sure it doesn't over heat or even come close. And yeah sounds to in-depth to do the bs elimination now. Thanks any other advice or anyone know where I can get die to put in.?

Power steering leaks! But I'll get some degreaser maybe it will help pin point the leak. Any suggestions helpful.

Engine degreaser, then hose it off, then brake cleaner for a good final cleaner. My 2 cents, yes it will be 1. the o ring at the cam belt end of the water pipe that crosses the front of the engine or 2. the water pump.
Cheers
Ross
